DESCRIPTION:Fire Walk\nSaturday\, 21 March 2026\nIt’s back! … Can you conquer the coals and help raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice? \nThis Spring\, we will be encouraging our supporters to face their fears and complete our fire walk. \nA fire walk is the most inspirational journey you will ever undertake. It is as the name suggests: a bare foot walk over red-hot embers measuring around 800 degrees. No tricks\, no special effects. Just you and the fire. \nFeedback from a previous challenger: “I just wanted to thank you and your colleagues for organizing an awesome event\, it gave me a chance to give back a little of what St Richard’s has come to mean to me. It also empowered me to do things outside of the box\, something which I ordinarily wouldn’t have the confidence to do.” \nFear is at the centre of the experience\, the fear you feel on the brink of a fire walk is incredible – all of your survival instincts are telling you to stay put. Once you take the power away from fear\, there is really nothing stopping you. After all\, if you can walk safely across hot coals what else is possible? \nJoin us at St Richard’s Hospice on Saturday\, 21 March 2026 and take on this exhilarating challenge. Friends and family are encouraged to come along to watch and will be welcomed into the “The Green”\, the Hospice’s restaurant area\, where a delicious fiery menu will be available to all. \nThe registration fee for this event is £35 per person which includes the fire walk experience and an hour long session to prepare you for the walk.
